Originally composed for the Guerrilla Singers of Oxford, this poignant setting of Alfred, Lord Tennyson’s ‘Crossing the Bar’ is short and accessible. It may be of interest to choirs for Remembrance, All Souls' Day and other memorial occasions.

Preces and Responses

For SATB Choir

A contemporary, accessible setting of the Preces and Responses, commonly sung at the service of Choral Evensong. Originally composed in 2019 for the Chapel Choir of Barnard Castle School, this setting has been performed at York Minster and Durham and Newcastle Cathedrals.

Simple Gifts

For Children's/Unison Voices & Piano

A flowing, contemporary arrangement of the traditional song 'Simple Gifts'. Suitable for children's choirs at Harvest Festival as well as other occasions. This piece was originally composed for Barnard Castle Prep School for Years 5 and 6 to sing at their Harvest Festival Service in 2021.
